Stephen is a chartered physiotherapist who has set up his own private clinics in Edgeware and Shenley, The Green Clinics.  They offer physiotherapy, pilates, acupuncture, massage therapy and personal Training using pilates, weights and kettlebells and circuit training.  His commitment comes from his own son being diagnosed with hypermobility which was the driving force behind Stephen super-specialising in this field and starting up on his own, having previously working in the NHS.  His approach differs in these children, in his words “I have had some good results focussing on playing games to exercise their muscles, rather than the more traditional and lengthy exercise programmes prescribed by more traditional physiotherapists working with hypermobility, where compliance can be a problem.”

Whilst there is no evidence that reflexology induces labour, it does help de-stress and ensure the body is at optimal level for when it is ready to go into labour naturally.  In the postpartum weeks, reflexology can help bring the body back into balance, reduce pain, help with stimulating milk, breast engorement/mastitis, urination difficulties, backache, caesarian aftercare and baby blues.

Abi also has specialist training in fertility reflexology and can help couples trying to conceive who may be experiencing sub-fertility or secondary sub-fertility.  Reflexology can help both women and men by balancing the reproductive system, encourage ovulation, sperm production or motility, de-stress the body and balance hormones.

All treatments are tailored to the individual and first sessions include a health and lifestyle consultation.  For prices please visit the website.
